This adapter solved my problem. I bought an MSI Optix G27C and had all sorts of problems with it which this cable solved. I have an Acer Aspire V 17 Nitro BLACK EDITION with a GTX 1060 and tried to use the included HDMI cable and it hurt my neck to make it do what it's supposed to. You can only get 120Hz with HDMI and I've had all sorts of problems trying to run it this way from my laptop. He blinked and all that crap. I thought the monitor was defective! I finally got this USB-C to DisplayPort adapter cable and it fixed everything! I go to testufo.com and everything is fine. Now that I've finally set it up properly, I'm very happy with it. UPDATE: Cable error on April 27th. The return window ended on April 14th. I contacted the seller to see if they would endorse their product.
