Review on 📶 AmpliFi HD WiFi MeshPoint: Enhanced Whole Home Coverage and Mesh Network Expansion by Joel Wright

I have had this product for almost three weeks now and it has been excellent so far! I have a very nice router that I didn't want to shelve in exchange for a mesh wireless system simply to plug a few holes I have in my WiFi bubble. I've looked and researched everywhere for a good extension cord. I had very mixed results that didn't suit me. I saw a mention of Amplifi Meshpint in a tech article and it sounded like what I needed so I gave it a try. So far it has been perfect! I hooked it up to a Nighthawk router, which in turn gets a signal from the fiber internet. The router is at the top of the 2,200-square-foot home, and the grid point is at the bottom. I usually get 100-150Mbps, which is excellent for my purposes. I really appreciate the signal strength indicators in the app and on the device itself. This really helps when trying to find the best spot for a grid point. Setup was easy after downloading the app to my phone. It should be noted that the application crashed for me during the final stages of setup, but when I restarted it everything was ready. The app itself allows you to control the connection to the router as well as the devices connected to the power grid. I configured it so that the mesh point uses the same SSID as my router. This differs from the setting of most real expanders, which use a modified name for their outgoing signal. By using the same SSID as my router, my devices easily switch between devices with the strongest signal and I don't have to program individual SSIDs on my devices. It should be noted that you can adjust the amplifi grid point this way if you wish. Best of all, I no longer have the freezes and disconnects in my streaming apps that I used to have. The Amplifi HD network point delivers a stable, seamless WiFi signal with very good speeds. It also seems very well made. Even the box it comes in is high quality! This product solved all my home wifi problems. It's well made, easy to use, and effective. So far I have no complaints. Highly recommended!
