The tuner came quickly, simply assembled. All smd components are pre-installed. There is enough information on the attached information sheet to put it together. Turn it on: It worked! He did everything right. Postponed a few weeks. The next time you turn it on, the display was very dark and then went black. I turned off the power, checked everything, everything seems fine. Turned back on and the display dimmed and then went off. The front of the display was warmer than expected. I used my Fluke 87 to check the voltage and saw +3.1 VDC on the VCC line on the display. I saw the same thing at the output of the voltage regulator U2. Removing the display's vcc line brought the vcc line back to 5.0 VDC. When reconnected to the display, the voltage dropped back to 3.1 VDC. Obviously the display has failed and is loading the controller. The seller could not be contacted. Maybe he reads this. If the device still works I would like to give 5 stars. While it worked, it worked well. Update: The seller contacted me and sent me a replacement display. Customer service is great and I really like this antenna tuner. Definitely a 5 star product and replacement parts seem readily available (to me at least) if needed.
