real PIA to put the nozzle on and stop. I hated picking up the truck and crawling under it to spend 15 minutes getting to the dash and then taking it off while trying to pump some lube in. So I bought this well made 90 degree coupler and a 3 foot hose. Yes, I still have to jack the truck up and get under it, but the right-angle connector snaps right onto the transom, and the longer hose keeps it from coming loose. Of course, it also works without a long hose. In both cases, greasing the joint takes about a minute! Because this coupler simply snaps in and out, it's an instant revert to a straight coupler on the hose, but makes greasing easier in some places when it's not necessary. You never seem to have enough tools or grease fittings.
