Review on Venum Contender Boxing Gloves: Ultimate Gear for Unstoppable Boxing Performance by Luckie Coonrod

Just buy good T3 boxing gloves

If you take boxing classes and only deal with heavy bags these gloves are probably a good place to start. After using them for almost a year I tried another set of gloves (same weight) and realized how horrible they are. The finger/knuckle area is HUGE and allows my hands to slide into the glove on impact. After sparring I got blisters on the knuckles of the thumb/index/middle finger of both hands. I boxed every day and the blisters never healed. Also, the pads on the ankles began to crack and peel off. I recently bought a pair of T3s and rented them to my friends who come to class. In truth, that's all the Venum Contender Gloves are good for. If you are serious about starting boxing, I would advise you to spend a little more coins and not buy these gloves. In general, do not wear Venum boxing/MMA gloves.
