Review on 🪶 Set of 5 Hand Carved Wood Block Print Stamps - Square and Border Patterns by Linda Diaz

I bought these to use on clay and fabric. I thought it was a great price for a set and planned to get a lot out of them. For some reason they just don't work. You might think it would be easy to apply ink to the surface of the stamp for the entire area and then apply it face down to the surface where the imprint is required. Not so. After applying 2 different types of inks, semi-permanent and permanent, the print almost disappeared. It seems that the stamp cannot keep the color on the surface. It appears to absorb the ink as the wood quickly darkens and discolours. I couldn't clean them after that as I had no problem cleaning my Blockwallah wooden stamp and rubber stamps. They're beautiful to look at, but they're just not functional. I thought it was a waste of money but since I had used and inked them I decided not to return them. I don't recommend them to anyone and I won't buy them again.
