I really like this tool and would recommend it for housework - - but it's not designed to work with hundreds of door cabinets. The construction is solid but the only weak point is the bearing that holds the drill shaft in place... it takes all the heat and pressure and needs to be made from a slightly higher hardness factor of the metal and maybe add a few support bearings for prolonged use…….use a mild lubricant to prolong the life of this vital part. Adjusting the tool to clamp and limit the depth of your drill bit is fairly easy and works well. But I ended up not being able to use the tool because the front of my closet door isn't flat and has a beveled panel so the tool couldn't snap the door frame at the perfect 90° angle to get a perfectly aligned hole to fit the hinge in. Otherwise it would have been perfect for my installation of Blum soft close hinges. I'm not sure if the small holes in the template line up with the Blum hinges that the mounting screws attach to, but the offset of the 35mm hole seems accurate. The drill seems very sharp and strong but I have no idea how many holes it will drill because I just couldn't use this very good tool due to the curved front of my cabinets. I recommend this tool even if I couldn't use it. That. It is a well built and all metal construction.
