I used them to cut PVC pipe for a plumbing change. The plumber I hired used his standard PVC cutting tool to cut out my old fittings, which ripped the old brittle PVC. The pipes had to be replaced and it was a nightmare (had to cut a hole in the next room to access the broken pipes).
