Review on 🔧 Revive Your Stanley Proto J6014RK Torque Wrench with the 1/2" Drive Ratchet Head Repair Kit by Marcus Cano

I like this because it's so much cheaper than a new torque wrench. I inherited a 150 ft/lb torque wrench. The directional stick didn't move and the head just turned. I opened it up and found that one pawl was broken, another was damaged, and a few teeth were missing from the gear. There is no marking on the wrench other than the ft/lb numbers engraved on the handle. I have no idea what brand or model number it is but the dogs in the picture of this product looked pretty good so I gave it a try. Everything fits except the backplate, which isn't a big problem as the original backplate is intact. He was close, but he just wasn't sitting in the body. Haven't really tightened anything yet, so I might change my guess if it fails, but it feels like a good fit and the direction lever moves back and forth easily but firmly.
