The tools themselves are not bad. The threads are coarse, and the whole set physically reeks of that awful Chinese smell. (That's not really as important as it sounds because it's an air conditioning tool and the freon smell drowns out the production smell.) The tool's metaphorical smell is much worse - basically the thing. There are sharp edges throughout, including a tube pocket that will julienne your hand if you try to reach it. I have no idea what will happen to the hoses over time. Unlike the picture, the parts do not snap into place. they don't fit at all. The ones that fit need to be placed in a special way (e.g. you need to open the valve handles fully or you won't be able to insert the gauge assembly). However, I tried this tool once and it seems to work so far. Maybe you're just planning to toss the case in the bin right away and come up with something of your own and you won't be as disappointed with this set as I was.
