No papers were provided and the clip had to be cut off.

I like the product, but I would like a more detailed product description. It comes without instructions and the plug had to be cut off and retrofitted. I didn't like the flimsy fastening system and made my own steel straps for fastening. I also didn't like the three screws holding the motor to the plastic so I took them out again and replaced them with better stainless steel screws that won't rust and increased the mount by 1/8 to give the motor more airflow to cool the motor itself. The nut holding the fan in place could be a locking spring clip for easy removal of the fan for motor replacement when it's time to change the brushes and clean the internals. Having solved minor personal problems, I installed a multi-relay and a switch. The relay was $8 and the switch was lying around. Connecting the wire was easy but required cutting the clip and inserting new ends. I ran this fan for 5 minutes during a Chevy 350 break-in and had to turn it off due to engine failure, so I have no experience running the fan for long periods. I have a friend who uses the same fan and runs it daily with no problems. I don't have any info on the amp's draw as it wasn't provided so I just hooked it up to a 30 amp relay switch with a 20 amp main power fuse. Went well. The fan label says 12V-120W. Plot the amplifier performance from there. Note that the consumption of the amplifier is highest when it is first switched on and then falls off when the speed reaches the maximum speed. It would be nice to have some literature on this necessary information. To calculate the current draw of your device, divide the rated power by the voltage of your power supply. 120/12 = 10 amps
