I've never used quilting pins but they looked fascinating so I wanted to try them. They came in a zipped bag, two sizes together. I consciously chose a product with minimal packaging. However, now I know I need a container to keep them in. I think I'm still happy that they come without a case so I can separately choose the case type that suits me - maybe even from items I have at home. I hesitated to judge their strength as I used them very little; However, none of them broke so I assume they will hold up over time.
