This replaced my old worn out pump that was originally for my 6.0. The original had a built in heater which is removed on this HFCM replacement. I didn't change the straps, I just taped them very well and zipped them up. Installation is easy and straightforward once you have the basic know-how and tools to get the job done. Shouldn't take more than 20-30 minutes. Just make sure the pump is primed and the top filter cup is full before you start (it's a good idea to change the top filter at this point as well). Unit also comes with a new genuine Motorcraft filter BUT STILL DOUBLE CHECK.
