This is a great looking vent part and it looks fantastic. Five stars out of five ***** I almost lost a star because the airflow element filter that came to me in a plastic bag was soaked with K&N oil. All other equipment is very well packed. If the filter element has become too oily during the upcoming installation, wipe it off and remove as much oil as possible. It will leak onto the garage floor after the engine has warmed up and you park it again. This is less of a big problem than a possible mess. I give the set 4 out of 5 stars because it fits very snugly. **** Although it's not bad. Installation takes an hour to an hour and a half due to the tightness of replacing the plastic air hose between the air element and the throttle body. Finally slide the element over the pipe and attach to the front of the engine bay for a tight fit. Use large towels to protect your wings as you will need to lean forward. However, be patient and it will slip off. Follow the instructions to connect everything as the instructions are fine. *** Be careful when removing the original car installed air element as the rubber bushings you intend to reuse may slip off the original equipment and fall further into the front of the car. I lost one of mine in the process, but the item is still very tight. ***Overall this is a beautiful device and the carbon fiber gives the body of the item a stunning retro look. Plus, it makes your air filtration equipment virtually maintenance free while still providing MAXIMUM airflow. Another great job and product from the folks at K&N. I recommend it if you just want better airflow.
