Review on 🐍 Exo Terra Snake Cave Hideout by Hagen - Enhancing Reptile Habitat by Melissa Lewis

Overall this is a hit. I read all reviews from 1 star (latest) to 5 stars which is my method of purchasing all Revain items, premium or not. Who wants trouble. So I have an albino ball (female, 568g, 4.5ft) that needs a habitat adjustment. Buying her "perpetual" habitat isn't practical at the moment, so I was hoping to maximize the space with more vertical hiding (achieved), provide something more enclosed for her to escape my little one's constant stress (achieved), using my reduced habitat humidifiers, concentration of humidity in this cave (not known yet) and for Albi to enjoy a smooth molt (should find out in 2 days). I will update if necessary. Albie got to this cave within 1 hour and now uses it as a default during the day. Unlike some reviewers, I agree it is not as pictured. However, I wouldn't be happy with it if I was surprised that I didn't read the reviews. I think top heavy is better because Albi is less likely to learn a trick and hurt himself. She is already quite fat and heavy for a 1 year old so I want to take precautions. However, DO NOT use moss unless you have an alternative. I found gum and some foreign metal shavings in the moss which I would have completely missed had I not read another review and decided to finger crush rather than just scatter them. That's why I deducted 1 star. Everything else is as expected or even better. I've attached some pictures of Albie getting to know and loving his new den.
