Excellent water based acrylic paint pens at a great price

Exceeded my expectations for quality and performance. The colors are very good - they included a few colors that I don't normally get in sets this size but I use often and like to have. The paint dries up a little more chalky/matte than I expected, but not so much that I find it a disadvantage. Red could be a little redder (less orange-red) and gold a little less brassy (less orange-yellow), but again not enough to be considered a problem. Feathers keep their shape with frequent use and the color can be easily distributed. I am very happy that I chose this set. If you're having trouble, consider the following suggestions: slow the flow of fresh paint to your piece; The result is flakes and rough color on the product, thick color and dropouts. This happens when the caps are left on the pins for too long, but also from dry air (whether it be natural low humidity or use in heated or air-conditioned rooms or windy/draughty conditions). If this happens, dry the pen with a paper towel or lint-free cloth *dampened* with distilled water to remove any sticky crusts and peeling paint, cap the pen, shake 5-10 times and leave log lying on the side for some time. Before using again, shake it 10-20 times with the cap on, then apply a primer if needed. If the pen becomes "dirty" with a different color, scribble it on a piece of clean paper to remove the irritating pigment. Twist the pen to remove all parts of the tip. Do not refill the pen until all foreign color pigments have been removed to avoid contamination of the ink in the barrel. Always store handles on their side. Apply paint with strokes, not with a spatula. This will give you even coverage and less damage to the pen. Too many passes over the same area will remove color instead of increasing coverage. If this happens, the best solution is to remove the paint from that area and start over and practice getting the desired coverage in just 1-2 passes. NEVER use anything other than fresh, clean, distilled water or a wetting agent specifically formulated for use with paint. Your pen is on the tip. Tap water contains bacteria and other particles that are harmful to your paint, saliva is a big problem, and other liquids can change the color and consistency of your paint (or even destroy it entirely). - To ensure durability, cover your work with water-based paint. Spray seal in the finish of your choice (matt, semi-gloss etc) or watch tutorials on how to heat seal your work onto glass, metal etc using heat or other methods. I hope you find all of this useful.
