Review on πŸ”‹ Efficient AUTOGEN Cordless Tire Inflator: Portable Mini Air Pump with Digital LCD, LED Light, 12V AC Lithium Battery - Ideal for Car, Bicycle Tires & More! by Mike Newbill

Great for cars. Easy to use.

I will compare this autogen to similar products I have reviewed before. Sunta and LoMas portable air compressors. The autogen battery has a capacity of 2000 mAh. That is more than Sunta with 1200 mAh and LoMas with 1000 mAh. Autogen charges via a 12V plug. This is a more reliable 12V connection and is commonly used in car accessories. Sunta charges with modern USB-C, while LoMas uses a micro-USB connector. Autogen has the best LED lighting of the three. It offers a wide spread of light, ideal for working on tires in the dark. There is a dedicated on/off switch. Deducted a star for the lack of a key lock. It is very easy to accidentally activate the flashlight while the device is in a padded case. I don't want to take this out of the glove box only to find it died with the flashlight on. The other two have small LED lights that are activated via multi-function buttons, they're not as bright or wide and require a long press to activate. Autogen quickly inflated a dead flat bike tire to 45psi. I then inflated four car tires from 30psi each to 35psi in about 10 minutes. The autogen got hot, but not hot enough to burn me. The Autogen's body is plastic, just like the LoMas, but feels more solid and is easier to hold. There are no storage compartments in the case, which is the only improvement I see in this design. The charging hose and some other accessories do not fit in the soft case that comes with the autogen. Shooting a star isn't worth it, but there's no room for an autogen and accessories other than the box. What I like most is the design of the metal body of Sunta. Autogen weighs 640 grams with hose. Sunta is the lightest of the three at 400 grams. LoMas weighs 440 grams. Autogen is the largest of them all: 10 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. The Autogen's display is a bit small, but easy to read when setting the pressure. It's on the base, and I was uncomfortable tilting the base. up to see it pumping. On-screen viewing angles aren't great, but not as bad as LoMas. Sunta has the best display so far. I like autogen for car use. Wall adapter and cable that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. This is ideal for most motorists as the car charge is long enough to provide power when the tire is inflated. It features an attention-grabbing flash mode, as well as the ubiquitous SOS pattern. I will continue to carry a Sunta inflator on my bike, but Autogen is taking over the inflator in my truck's glove box.
