This strap wrench can twist the most stubborn objects. I bought this specifically to unscrew the impeller from the pool pump shaft as it's glass filled plastic and you can't grab it with a metal tool without risking damage. It works way better than the cheap plastic key that came with them. It's also the world's most useless can opener. You must be careful as this tool can and will apply enough force if you let it to easily crush anything thin-walled or brittle. A note to potential buyers; There are a variety of purchasing options and the title says '2 inch capacity'. If you buy #2 with a 24" (600mm) band, you can screw on things much larger than 2" in diameter. Also keep in mind that although the item will appear in RIDGID red, it may end up being gray.
