All my windows have honeycomb curtains and let in light while maintaining privacy. The problem I'm having is that my office monitor is facing a window that has direct sunlight late in the morning. So I got significant on-screen glare even with the shutter closed. Installation was pretty easy, just installing a couple of brackets and snapping the curtain into place, and it was narrow enough for me to tuck behind the honeycomb curtain. By itself it completely blocks out the sun and I have no glare on my monitor. I like to leave out both and the honeycomb tint at the same time as it's quite garish to look at.
