Used this to remove what I suspect were original lower ball joints on a 2001 Ford Ranger 4X4 with 221,000 miles. I was worried. I tried knocking them out with a 5lb sled but they wouldn't budge. I put a press in and started spinning. This thing is durable; at least for cars. I kept tightening it and the ball joints didn't move. Finally I saw them slowly moving forward. I was impressed that the C-clamp and included cups held up so well. To be honest I'll probably never use them again, but the price was right. Installation was easy. I can definitely recommend this product.
