The design of the straws is very nice. My kids tend to bite on straws which causes the plastic straws to flatten out, but paper straws break easily. The problem isn't with the brand, it's with paper straws in general. For me the biggest issue is that I love using a canned soda straw, but there is some reaction to the straw causing the soda to bubble up through the straw. like those volcano experiments, and it's dripping everywhere. It settles down after a while, but that shouldn't happen to a straw!
