My refrigerator uses filters to keep it fresh. It is activated with charcoal. I have a vortex cooler and they are the right size to fit in the filter cartridge compartment under the oil compartment. I am impressed with the performance so far. It will last at least as long as the original brand. This helps protect the air inside from unpleasant odors and is easy to install. The value is great as I get a four pack for less than two packs of the original brand.
