Review on Tow Ready 20142 7-Way Flat Pin to 7-Flat Plug Adapter - Regular Plug by Satish Tegan

I bought this hoping it could fix my 2011 Land Rover LR4 which is having trouble detecting trailers with LED lights. It did not work. It has a 100 ohm resistor soldered to the tail light and turn signal pins. I was able to get the car to recognize the trailer by replacing these resistors with some 10W compact resistors with a heatsink built in. However, in this setup there is not enough current to light up the trailer LEDs. I am now dead in the water and cannot return this adapter. The current solution is to tape the buzzer in place so it's not as uncomfortable when reversing with a trailer.
