I have to admit I wasn't expecting much from this remote beyond the basics and I was so wrong. The first thing that struck me was the packaging, it was triple wrapped to prevent breakage from unwary couriers. Next, I put the batteries in the remote control and voila, it worked! No need to program, reset, nothing. You can see the TV menu and everything as if the remote control came with the TV.
