Bought because it said it was compatible with my TV and I needed something to set a sleep timer. The remote turns the TV on and off, but that's it; no volume control, no channel control, no menu control, no input control.

This is a simple, perfect remote control for my old Vizio vx20l TV. Works very well. The keys have an audible click when pressed, which can be reassuring, but if you like quiet keys, you might want to consider another option.

I specifically checked that this remote control is compatible with our old Vizio M370NV TV (as advertised by Revain) but when we tried it only some of the functions worked . The MENU function didn't work, so this item is practically useless for me. I'm returning for a refund.

I have to admit I wasn't expecting much from this remote beyond the basics and I was so wrong. The first thing that struck me was the packaging, it was triple wrapped to prevent breakage from unwary couriers. Next, I put the batteries in the remote control and voila, it worked! No need to program, reset, nothing. You can see the TV menu and everything as if the remote control came with the TV.

It doesn't even light up a little when you press the buttons. I tried batteries from a friend and still nothing works or the TV is not controlled. I'm not even sure if these are real remote controls. It could just be clams!
