This was built no worse than my previous two Aquasignal lights which were junk. I used a heat gun to glue the flaps to my mast but it took 60 seconds per side and was very easy to do. The light is bright. It's only been a week, let's see how it holds up. The only downside I see is that the bottom screw that holds the light has a molded piece that it screws into, preventing it from sitting flush with the mast. This was an easy decision for me as I have a groove at the front of the mast so it wasn't a problem. Otherwise you may need to drill a small hole, maybe 3/16 - 1/4 inch, to accommodate this bar so it stays flush.
