These cylinders are larger than the factory versions. This means they contain more liquid. They climb a bit slower but have more than enough power. The difference in speed means you only want to replace the set. If you try to replace just one, the difference in power and speed will cause your top to jam. So yes, I started out single and then ordered another one to match. Otherwise there is no leakage, and that is the most important thing.
