My old gimbal was broken, so I decided to try Zhiyun's new Smooth Q3 gimbal. I have their Weebill-S for my mirrorless camera and I'm very happy with their performance so I wasn't worried about their quality. I had a connection problem at first but it was probably my phone but after pairing it immediately recognized the gimbal and I started filming! The SUPER gimbal is easy to set up. You simply loosen the side grip to extend your arm until it clicks, download the app, turn on the device, and let it find your phone. Double-clicking the large trigger button resets the position, and triple-clicking changes the default portrait mode to landscape mode and vice versa. It feels good in the hand and is not heavy at all. While the software is limited to the resolution available on my OnePlus 9 Pro such as 4K60 or 4K120, it is possible to use the phone's stock camera, so there is absolutely no need to use the app to capture and capture images. The stability makes it easier to capture quick video for vlogging and updates than taking out my mirrorless camera and adapting it for a larger gimbal. This stabilizer does not really need to be calibrated, although there is such an option in the software. Stop and record can be started by cranking and panning left and right, up and down. It's smooth butter and so much fun even shooting 8K with my phone these days. I highly recommend this stabilizer 👍👍👍
