I was a little worried after reading some reviews of 'build quality' and 'broken after two weeks'. I've been using it for over two months, done a few oil changes with it, sucked up a puddle of coolant on my engine block from a broken thermostat housing, even drained some coolant so I could replace the thermostat and it's worked great. I have used both the compressor port and the hand pump handle and it is very easy to use. I'm not sure how some of the reviewers had problems with the instructions or with parts falling in their dipstick tube - actually, they didn't. complex and it must be a crazy long dipstick tube if you lose a whole chunk of that pump in there. Overall my experience with this tool has been positive and I think it is well built and reliable. I can highly recommend this remedy. This pump makes oil changes quick and CLEAN, and the money you save doing it yourself means you can (and want) to change oil more often. On some cars I've used it on it took about 15 minutes from start to finish. This pays for itself very quickly, especially if you're flushing the brake fluid or draining/top-up the transmission (usually quite expensive at the shop). This tool is also versatile as it can be used to drain many maintenance fluids. In terms of tools, this is clearly a good investment. **UPDATE** 18+ months :: 11/23/2020 Still working, I continue to use it regularly and it has had NO PROBLEMS. It was a great investment.
