Good for sprains - my new review

I have some ankle damage from Type 2 diabetes. Most ankle supports are too small. So I gave this a try.Another reviewer said it takes some fiddling and they're right. It's the kind of thing that would be perfect if you had a trainer putting it on. But I didn't. I got it reasonable snug, generally comfortable, but that night I had some swelling above it.I wish the Velcro straps (Plenty long++) both attached the same, but one wraps clockwise, and the other counterclockwise. That means one of the straps has to fasten behind your foot. I wish they both secured on the inside, so I could reach them easily. Removing it requires you to reach the outer ankle and pull the tenacious Velcro loose. Easy for an slender athlete, but not for me.This will join the other 5 or 6 ankle supports in a drawer while the search for the perfect one continues.

Pros
  • Decreases the chances of developing chronic ankle issues
Cons
  • The brace might be too rigid for some individuals, limiting mobility
