To be honest I hitch a horse trailer 3 times a week. I thought it would save me time but it was a pain in the ass. The small balls are not fixed on the telescopic rod, but move. In fact, I was less accurate trying to line them up because they were rotating and facing opposite directions. Also, balls are similar to billiard balls, they are not durable. To be honest if you are new to connecting followers this might help. But if you are experienced then it's a waste of money.
