I bought this light for my bike helmet because I really want to be seen on the road. In fact, I want to be seen long before you come to me. I had a little flashing light on my helmet which was good for a while but sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't so I needed something reliable and ordered it. I put this light on my helmet last night, it's fantastic. If you look down or up, the light will align so that it is always in position to see the flashing light. At first I thought it might be too big and look like overkill, but once I positioned it correctly on the back of the helmet it looked ok and worked great. Drivers will definitely see me long before they reach me. As you ride down the road you should have lights at different levels with your head being the highest point and one of the best places for a light when cycling. So of course I use a helmet light, a 1W seatpost light and a 2W bike rack light. Nobody, absolutely nobody, blows a car horn at me. because they can see me before they reach me. The kit also included two additional mounting hardware should you decide to mount it elsewhere. However, if you drive at night, GET THIS LIGHT, buy it today.
