Advantages: Soft, gentle on the car, holds a lot of foam and water. Cons: Nothing for me personally. I've seen some wet weight comments but that's not a problem for me. Other: Looks like a wash mitt with "Vroom" written on it that I bought at Target a few years ago. It was a glove I think around $5-6 but I'm not sure. In my non-professional analysis the differences were: 1. Vroom was slightly smaller 2. Vroom was lighter even when dry. This difference increased when they were wet. 3. The "fingers" that make up the surface of this glove were spaced farther apart than on GG. This could explain #2: fewer fingers (no, I didn't count them) -> less water retention -> lighter weight. I wonder if the space between the fingers allows the glove's base material, which doesn't feel as soft as the fingers, to make contact with the car. I would prefer GG.
