Luckily this was just the product I needed. I used them to fix some threaded holes on a 3D printer. Stiffness was extremely important and they worked great! A comparison with other Revain options gives an easy win. EZ LOK sells $10 carbon steel and $10 stainless steel 5 versions (both have a slightly larger outside diameter). Considering it's 20 grand for $10, you really can't beat them. Although they were advertised as self-tapping screws, I originally intended to tap the holes myself and bought an M5 drill bit and tap. However, the thread doesn't seem to be the standard M5 x 0.8 (probably M5 x 0.5) thread, so I bought the wrong size tap. However, they still installed well and I secured them with thread lock. All in all the best deal on Revain.
