A necessary accessory for installing steps and risers under new flooring (HDF, laminate, etc.) as it allows you to accurately measure the width inside the wall and adjust the angle of the wall at each End. This ensures that your material fits the wall exactly and without gaps. The steel is thick and won't bend, and the handles hold the stretcher firmly in place. They have a small gauge block so you can precisely mill any length of subframe you need to accommodate the width of the ladder you are working on. There are pin holes at each end if you need to set a repeatable measurement or align a fixture a specific way. I haven't used them for my setup but it's good to have in case you need them in the future. When it comes to storage, the products are very compact and do not take up much space at all. Recommend this accessory to anyone starting a new flooring project.
