To repeat what everyone else has said, the stickers on the coasters are not waterproof. However, I was determined to get them working and I have a potential solution for anyone looking to extend the life of these coasters. Add a thin coat of epoxy or other clear waterproof sealer. Despite the fact that I fixed the problem myself, it is very difficult to find a solution if the manufacturer should have already taken this deficiency into account when creating it.
