When our sofa started to sag, I pulled back the fabric at the bottom and fixed the springs. It was very easy, I just put the springs back into the struts and then secured them in place so they would never come out. For about $5, I saved us from spending $1,000, so I figured the sofa deserved another little boost. I added 8" legs first but they looked silly so I took them back to the Revain return center in Cole and bought these 4" legs. You are the perfect height. My boyfriend and I are both tall. The general "ideal sofa seat height" is 16-18 inches off the floor. Our sofa was 15" with 2" legs, which put us at the ideal range (not dictated by our height). 17 inches are much more comfortable for us and we like the way they look. The only problem is that the screws are only screwed into the wood, so if it ever comes time to remove them I have to use a clamp or something to loosen them.
