This is a great tool kit for dreadlock newbies as it gives you a good variety to work with and can get the job done. However, some of my tools are already broken and I don't even handle them roughly. One of my wooden handles cracked, one of the metal latches broke, and one of the pink plastic handles popped out where the green piece connects (easy to put back in place, but it happens a lot when I use it). I've just ordered another of these tool kits to at least have a reserve for parts that seem to break so easily. I recommend this if you want to try different styles of dreadlocks and practice with each one, as it gives you crochet and block tools, but if you find a tool in this set that you really like, just invest in a good one. Or buy two of these kits so you have a backup.
