The three button remote that came with the Mighty Mule 857 gate opener was an immediate problem. The MM kit relied on remote WiFi, not a hardwired gate control solution. The MM WiFi device isn't reliable, so I was hoping to use the included MM three-button remote to control my gate from home, about 150 feet away and in sight. However, the range of the MM remote control is about fifteen meters. The remote gate openers here are programmed in seconds and are powerful enough to operate my gate from inside the home.
