This product has been a blessing. I'm new to crocheting and have knitted a few beginner blankets. I use Bernat Baby Blanket yarn (10.5 oz I think) and keeping it steady and not getting tangled has become a problem. I saw this product, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I am very happy with this purchase. It holds my huge ball of yarn and it's very smooth and doesn't tangle. Don't forget to put four small stickers on the bottom because they won't let it move. They are in a small bag with gift accessories. I don't wrap the yarn first. I put it on the spindle the way I bought it.
