Not very easy to install, requires drilling two screw holes for each light. I decided to buy neodymium magnets and epoxy the magnet to the back of the lantern. It's still not fun to pull wires, but the lights with magnets stick really well to all the metal on my jeep. And if there is an extra wire for the light, I can make the light a work light. 4 of the 12 lights are a slightly different hue, so if you want BLUE you get 8 blue and 4 bluish purple lights, white gets 8 white and 4 pink. Not much unless you're more compulsive than me. Members of my Jeep group paid over $800 for magnetic LED lights which are better made and brighter but not worth 8x the price. They work well for the price.
