Review on 🔌 CURT 55513 Toyota Tacoma, T100, Hilux 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness - Vehicle-Specific Design in Black by Rushabh Gonsales

The control module is located on the left rear. I removed the standard screw and had to sand the surface to ground the device. If it doesn't, I can connect to ground on the taillight as a backup. The 4-pin cable is very long, almost not even needed. The wiring to the right tail was spot on, but I would have preferred another 8 inches to make it clearer. I don't tow often, maybe 1-2 times a year, so I'm hoping this module lasts a while, otherwise I just cut it out and added fuses.
