This is a good little heater in many ways: it's small, light weight, easy to use, easy to store away when not in use and warms the body ; not the air around it. We have a vaulted ceiling with a skylight in our bathroom. In winter it is very cold when you come out of the shower to dry off. Unfortunately, 500 watts is not enough to get out of the shower and dry your whole body. (The lack of a fan is a huge plus as the fan actually works against the heat as it blows on our wet bodies). I put it on the toilet seat instead of the floor, hoping it would help a little, but it wasn't enough. But I would highly recommend it for different needs like sitting at a table or in a chair. You will be very happy.
