Review on DEWENWILS Protector Electrical Appliances Aquarium by Diane Hubert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very poor instructions but can be programmed

The most important thing to remember when programming this (follow the guide step by step) is that the ON/OFF BUTTON (not the red on /off all the way) is actually an OVERRIDE switch. If you press the button while "Off" is on the display, the timer bank will turn on, even if you are in the timer area to turn off a bank. So after programming your desired time and returning to the main display, look for a tiny on or off display. If it is on, turn it off (Power button) and then press the Auto button. This sets the timer output bank to off and on of 4 outputs as per your programming. IF ON is shown on the display, the power button takes precedence over your programming. This section of the mode setting table is very poorly described in the manual.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
