Review on Mercier 56-Blade Professional Needle Meat Tenderizer with Cleaning Brush - Perfect for Steak, Chicken, Fish, and Pork by Lakeisha Butler

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's good for its purpose but there are caveats about it

I bought this mainly because I enjoy certain fried foods, not always but when the occasion calls for it; Mostly pork chops. However, after reading two usages, I think one of the blade tips actually chipped/broken and got stuck in one of the cuts of meat I was tenderizing. Luckily I caught it and had to adjust to how I use it on meat. There is a fortress, there are no complaints, but the oval size is kind of awkward. I would probably prefer a different shape. Ease of use is fairly basic, although the lock/unlock button on the side needs to be highlighted or colored to show usage. Spray it with hot water to make sure any stuck spices/herbs or whatever are removed. Overall a decent option but maybe there is something better in terms of price and design.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
