To start with, this mixer valve was a great addition to my bidet spray head. Not to be compared with warm water for cleaning! The all-brass construction makes it very durable. Didn't have to worry about damage during installation (overtightening or falling) and didn't have to worry about it failing under pressure in the future. Installation was a bit of a hassle but mostly because of the plumbing I was working with. For the average handyman in a newer home (newer pipes), you won't have a problem. Just take your time and do the job right. Initially I had trouble raising the temperature because the mixing valve has a very short working range. (1/4 turn goes from off to full hot to full cold) but the instructions make it clear how to do it right. Here's the part where I got more than I expected. I figured that when I was ready to wash my face, I'd have to turn on the faucet in the sink until the water was hot. But I learned that when you flush, the valve draws hot water down the toilet to refill the tank. So instead of wasting cold water down the drain to get hot water, that cold water is used to fill the toilet tank. Then, after this kind of rinsing, the bidet is finished with some pleasantly warm water. I really have no negative reviews for this product!
