Big! And the screws are the right length guys - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! But I installed it easier.

I installed this kit on my 17 Sierra Crew over the weekend. Firstly for those who complain in their reviews that the bolts are too long. Did you really "read" the instructions? The instructions say very clearly (there even seems to be a picture!) to install the bolts through "TOP" and the nuts from the bottom? There are no screw issues and the kit is pretty easy to assemble. It's very disappointing to read negative feedback from people who obviously didn't read and/or follow the instructions. Installation went smoothly, both sides were done in less than an hour and I had no help. I should mention that I did NOT remove the skid plate or unplug the electric steering connector like the instructions suggest (I know. I was just scolding some people for not following the instructions - LOL). However, I couldn't find where it was needed so I didn't. I only loosened the top 3 strut nuts, unscrewed the bottom 2 strut bolts and completely loosened the stabilizer end link bolt. you can leave the nut. I then loosened the upper arm ball joint nut and tapped on it to loosen it. I used a jack to hold the front suspension and unscrewed the upper ball joint nut, then lowered the suspension down to separate it from the upper arm ball joint. This allowed me to "rotate" the rotor assembly to the right just enough to move the front drive shaft enough for me to slide the new lower strut bolts through. I then installed the washers and nuts on the bottom as instructed and reassembled everything in reverse order. super easy! The front of the truck has risen 2 1/8 inches and I am very happy with the result. And my factory steps are now perfectly level to the ground. 13 inches from bottom of step front and back. Note: If you use spacers larger than 2 inches and don't have a raise in the back, your stride will be higher in the front than the back. I personally don't like that look so this 2" kit is perfect for me. . Good luck. No complaints here. A good product!
