This kit is very easy to assemble. Unfortunately, my previous equipment had a small circle on the latch and that's it. It has a real rectangular top. To install this I had to pull out the chisel to get it flush. Luckily it didn't take long and a little paint will make it look nice again. The counter plate also had square corners, and my previous one had rounded corners, so I had to do a bit of sanding there as well. The turning mechanism of the lock is quite strong but turns easily. When switched on, none of the handles rotate (i.e. it's not a handle that automatically unlocks when opened from the inside).
