DO NOT BUY! - CRITICAL DEVELOPMENT FAILURE For the record, my personal experience is as a design engineer/consumer product designer. I really wanted to love this mask. The styling is great, the fit is great, even the concept design is great. The problem is that the "one-way valves" in the mask don't work like valves, they allow air to flow in both directions. This has been tested on multiple devices with multiple valves. This mask practically does not filter the incoming air. Until the plastic flap is modified (or made to spec), this mask is actually less effective than pulling a t-shirt over your face. Upon inspection, the rubber washers that open and close are too SMALL for the hole and not secure enough. , so they move regularly. I cannot reiterate enough, for all its features and great aesthetics, this mask is useless as PPE.
