we have 5 cats and a dog in our house. After we got this we used it 10 times! First I put my wet cat in and she kicked the glass as if to jump out. The fan has a setting so they seemed to quiet down as soon as I turned it off. Good that the temperature is adjustable. For Yuki, she likes the cooler, where the two kittens only seem to settle down when the temperature is at its highest. After about ten minutes, two out of five cats will lie down and relax, and three out of five will continue to meow, waiting for the timer to go down. The timer is adjustable from 60 minutes to 15 minutes which I usually set to dry the cats, it doesn't take long they dry very quickly. no one gets hurt. the box is fully assembled upon arrival and is VERY HEAVY not very easy to move but possible. The sliding glass panel is thick and durable. I love it as a personal care product that makes bathing 100 times better for everyone. no more pathetic wet pets for hours!
